The Erratic Behavior In Sales Was All My Fault

When I first started out in SEO and affiliate marketing, I didn’t have a plan.

Every page I published was different.

With a different structure.

Different length.

Different number of products reviewed.

Different locations for my target keywords.

And so forth.

As you can imagine, my sales were all over the place too.

Some days I’d make $0 from a single affiliate buying guide while other days I’d make $100 or more.

At the time, I couldn’t understand it

Traffic was steady but sales were erratic. (Perhaps you’ve experienced this same problem?)

But then things changed for the better.

One day, I realized my best-performing pages day-in and day-out had a particular type of layout, which was by complete accident because I wasn’t doing anything intentionally consistent on my sites.

After I noticed this, a brilliant idea popped into my head:

“What if I copied that page layout to my other affiliate buying guides?” I wondered. “Would those pages make more money?”

So I tested it out.

And sure enough, once I copied that successful layout to other affiliate buying guides on my sites, the income for all of my top 10 product review pages began to level out and the crazy up and down dips in the earnings vanished.

I was onto something big.

But that’s not even the best part…

What I also realized from standardizing my affiliate buying guides was that I could test conversion rate optimization and ranking strategies that could be applied on a wide-spread scale to make incremental improvements.

Because every top 10 review page was structured the same, I could test one aspect on a few high-traffic pages to see if it improved rankings and earnings.

And when it did, I could deploy that update quickly and easily to every other affiliate buying guide to reap the rewards.

It was an amazing breakthrough in my business to say the least.

I can’t even count how much more money and increase in rankings my sites received from that one simple switch in my publishing process.

And to this day, I stick to a handful of outlines for every affiliate buying guide I publish. And will never sway from them.

Because I know they work.

Now, if you’re anything like I used to be–without a strategic plan in place for your big money content–then my new Affiliate Buying Guide Templates pack may be exactly what you need.

There’s nothing else available online quite like it either.
