What Is a Natural Link?
A natural link is a link that occurs organically without any effort from the website owner to generate the backlink for search engine optimization. Also known as a natural backlink, organic link, and organic backlink.
Natural links are important for off-page search engine optimization (SEO) because they represent a vote of confidence (or endorsement) from other site owners, which is an important ranking factor for search engine algorithms. Natural backlinks also follow search engine guidelines that prohibit the building of unnatural links to manipulate search engine rankings.
The more natural links a website receives, the more authority and trust the domain has for the ranking algorithms. The same thing is true for individual web pages; more organic backlinks equate to higher ranking positions in the search engine results pages (SERPs).
Natural links are created by producing high-quality content that other website owners find valulable enough to link to from their articles, blog posts, resource pages, social media accounts, etc.
